Foundant hosted 12 clients in sunny San Francisco on Thursday, September 15th for a west coast user group / client training. Several Foundant staff were already in the Bay area for the Council on Foundations Conference for Community Foundations. At the culmination of that conference we switched gears to spend a day with the following clients: The Compton Foundation, Thomas J. Long Foundation, Petco, Kalliopeia, Leightman Maxey Foundation, West Family Foundation, Community Foundation of Mendocino County, Frieda Fox Foundation, First Fruit and the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation.
Grant Elliott headed up the training session with an agenda that included working with grant processes, contacts and duplicates and a special preview of the new Foundant GLM reporting module (which was not yet available for clients at the time of the training). The new reporting was received from the clients with much excitement! Time was spent talking about the Foundant community site and fielding questions and suggestions for GLM.
We hope this is will be the first of many annual meetings with our Bay area clients. We love to meet face to face and relish the opportunity to learn first hand what is and is not working in GLM so we can continue to improve it for you.
