I grew up in South Dakota and I’ve always been drawn to the mountains. In high school I knew I was going to go to college in Montana and ski race, period. So that is what I did. I also got a “semi-useful” degree in chemistry! After graduating from Rocky Mountain College in 2005 I landed a job for a small biotech company here in Bozeman. My wife, Karley, and I got married in 2006 and we put our roots down here. We love everything about Bozeman and the surrounding area. However, the biotech industry was a bit too volatile for my liking and after getting laid off more times than I’d like to remember I decided to take up landscaping. Recently, an opportunity came up at Foundant Technologies and it immediately captured my attention. The more I learned, the more I liked. From their corporate culture to their customer service, Foundant really lines up with my personality and work ethic. So I’m back in the tech world and I couldn’t be happier.
My wife and I are having a blast raising our two boys, Hazen (4years) and Wilder (4mo.). We take them just about everywhere with us. Bozeman offers so many outdoor activities and we certainly take advantage of the skiing, fishing, floating, hunting, biking and running. Most weekends and evenings we load up the boys and head out on an adventure.
