(Hello, allow me to introduce myself.)
No, I really can’t speak or write in Greek, but I was born there, in Athens. When I was about two years old my family moved back to the United States.
Apparently at that age I was able to speak more Greek than English but I am sure that quickly changed. Both my parents were in the Navy, so my early years were spent traveling and re-settling. I have lived in California, Oregon (twice), Washington State and of course Montana.
When my parents left the Navy my father decided that he wanted to live closer to his family so when I was about eight years old we moved to Missoula, MT. I think that at the time the Forestry school at the University of Montana was what interested him the most.
After moving to Missoula, my families’ traveling days were over. I was there for about 18 years before I decided I wanted to see the coast again. I moved to Seattle with my then girlfriend in the late winter of 1999. We married in the late summer of 2001. I started getting restless to see mountains and open spaces again so I started searching for a way to return to Montana in some way. I went to school and gained my degree in Computer Information Systems and moved back to Montana the Late winter of 2005. This time we settled in Bozeman. The technological hub of the state of Montana.
My wife and I had lived here in Bozeman about 2 years when we decided that sleep was over-rated and that it was time to start a family. Our daughter, Dani was born in 2008; and sleep has definitely been overrated ever since. She is definitely the epicenter of our lives now, but I don’t think we would have it any other way.
I have since come to Foundant as their newest Software Developer working on the fantastic GLM product. When I’m not working I love spending time with my family, exploring the state, learning history, hunting, fishing and many of the things that Montana has come to be known for.
