Clients Take Over at Chicago User Group!

I love it when our clients step up and share their successes using GLM! During last week’s Chicago Area User Group meeting, Daren Nordhagen, Foundant’s President, presented and demoed some new features of GLM Reports. During his demo, one of our clients and friends, Jacqui Lara from the McGowan Charitable Fund, requested to take over his computer and show the McGowan site. This was the perfect opportunity for everyone in the room to see the reports she’s built and to view their output on a real client’s site. It was wonderful, very educational and informative for all. Thank you, Jacqui! (move over Daren!)

We had a smaller group than normal at this event, but it allowed us to dig into and answer some very specific questions from the attendees, pull up some of their sites and make changes on the spot. The group asked great questions and not only learned a lot from us but mostly from each other. This was the perfect event to end our trip to Chicago for the week of April 8th.

The couple days before the User Group, Daren and I attended and exhibited at the COF Annual Conference. There, we were able to visit with a few clients and talk to many organizations looking to improve their online grantmaking systems.

It was a great week on the road and I would like to give special thanks to Jacqui Lara for being our team lead for the User Group and securing the space at Donors Forum for our meeting. It’s a great venue and they are very generous to provide the centrally located space for these events.

Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
