In Montana most of us live for the 60 days of summer weather. We usually plan a camping trip for the three day 4th of July weekend and this year we took our camper to the Centennial Mountains on the border of Montana & Idaho. Glacier National Park is more spectacular and Yellowstone has all its crazy and interesting sites but the Centennial Valley is truly one of the most special places in our state. In the slideshow you’ll notice a picture of Hell Roaring Creek, the furthest headwaters of the Missouri river which is the 3rd longest river in the world. It’s amazing to think that some of the water molecules you see in that picture will eventually make their way to the Gulf of Mexico!
